seemed like an ordinary day

the response to the airing of david berkeley's "fire sign" on without a trace last night has been overwhelming. david's on tour in the northeast, so he won't have a chance to update his site and make the whole song available until he returns on monday.

until then, feel free to download the song here. thanks for your patience!

david berkeley track featured on "without a trace" on cbs

it's official: this coming thursday (2/12) at 10pm et/9pm ct, tune into "without a trace" on cbs. The climax of the episode will feature a new david berkeley song, "fire sign." it's david's song, and his beautiful baritone voice and acoustic guitar are its core--i produced, engineered, and mixed the track, and am filling it out with electric guitar, piano, and string bass. download an excerpt from it before the show airs so you'll know what you're listening for!

from the deceptively stoic opening ("should've told me...seemed like an ordinary day") to the haunting repeated conclusion ("one day you're near and then you go"), the song really draws you in...even more so when you see it with the show.
